30: Family Plot (1976)
FAMILY PLOT is Hitchcock’s oft-forgotten final effort, which is largely fair. By 1976, Hitchcock’s skill with glamorous movie stars and clever innuendo was out of style, and the old pro struggled to adapt. Still, especially when paired with a modern screwball crime thriller like Bong Joon Ho’s masterpiece PARASITE, Hitchcock’s darkly funny worldview is undeniable.
